I think what he means is that Micro$oft no longer publicly supports the SCC interfaces and does not publish technical documentation on how it works. I just did a quick search on MSDN and didn't see any tech docs for it. While I am sure that they can be obtained somewhere/somehow, they would likely become a moving target if Micro$soft isn't going to publicly support them.

What?  What do you mean?
 
How about existing products that do support SCC, such as PCVS, MKS, etc.  We use MKS heavily here and it would be very nice to have SCC support directly from IDEA instead of going with "External Tools" configuration.
