Not sure if it's been reported before and I'm *really* sorry that I don't have stack traces handy right now (only replicate it at work)...
Anyhow, Build 531, WinNT, Java 1.3.(1?) On large(ish) projects, say 300-500 classes, idea throws an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundException when you open the project. The exception appears to be related to building the cache. I have seen it fail consistently at 2% building the cache on a *big* project and at about 20% on a smaller one. In both cases the cache file is not created under the system directory. Everything still works ok except for "Find Usages" which blows up with null pointer exceptions - presumably because the cache is not there. Smaller projects (50 classes or so) do not suffer from this problem. I hope this is enough info, this is a pretty critical bug imho.
