Hi I found a way to reproduce the error. It's MS IE v5.5 fault. When it's dump IDEA hangs.
1: Start IDEA 2: Start IE v5.5 3: go to url: http://www.bold.dk 4: IE v5.5 crashes with a notice to send the error to M$. I select no and IE restarts 5: Swith to IDEA and it's grey screen So the error happend when IE dumps. /Claus >>>>> original mail <<<<<<<<<<<<< Hi WinNT4sp6, 256ram, IDEA #533, sun jdk1.3.1_01. Using standard idea.bat file (ie not modifed) This is the 2. time this happend. 1st time. I had a .xml file open in IDEA and minimized IDEA to work with other programs. Later I restored the IDEA but the windows was totally grey and nothing happend for about 1 min. I went to the console and stopped it using CTRL + Break. A thread stack dump appered. I closed the console window and started IDEA again. 2nd time the same but with a .java file open. I waited approx 3 min. and nothing happend either. Note it's the same project for both times. I had worked on the this project with IDEA #517 to #533. And it's at #533 this has happend. I think in a older build I also had a similar experience.
