Hi Nad. This was reported a *long* time ago (by me) - it turns out that the settings are actually saved, but they don't work properly unless you close and restart IDEA. The italics bug was never properly resolved but a restart seems to cure the problem. I use IDEA with Lucida Console 10pt and it's fine.
