I have the same problem here! Whereever I want to explore a directory, it
gets freezed (for some seconds)! From choosing the project directory to
selecting the compiler output directory....

Hi list.
This is a strange one. 2.5 official release (#536) on NT4 using
JDK1.3.1_01, a colleague tries to create a project, and tries to choose the
project directory, at which point IDEA freezes. It doesn't seem to be
using
any resources - racing through memory or locking the CPU.
This is the same configuration that I (and several other) colleagues are
using with no problems at all. The machine is pretty beefy: 1.8GHz, 1Gb
memory. If anyone can shed any light I would be very grateful.
