I've recently started playing with the Eclipse JDT, their concept of perspectives and workspaces is pretty neat. At the moment, I'm using them much like the old multiple desktops in HP-UX. At any given time, you can have numerous workspaces open - each having a series of opened files associated with it (perspectives are essentially a type system for workspaces). This allows one to group open files in whatever arrangement makes sense, then flip between workspaces / perspectives. Typically I'll have one workspace with a Debug perspective opened, a couple of workspaces with the Help perspective opened and a half dozen workspaces with the Java perspective opened. If you like having lots of files opened, this is a cool approach. -- Shane _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
