I have run across a very weird problem with VSS explorer when I launch it
from inside IDEA. I am running build 537 under W2K.
The problem occurs when I use "get latest version" to pull a copy of a
project onto some arbitrary point in a network mounted drive. When I
browse for the location to get latest to it only offers me drive C: on
the drives dropdown (of the 10 or so drives I actually have mounted!).
If I run the same explorer directly pointing at the same database and
follow exactly the same steps it offers me my full list of drives at the
same point.
Given nothing else is different the only possible point of difference is
the way IDEA starts up explorer - either in command line or more likely
in environment terms. Thoughts?,
