I reported this before, for CVS. It also happens when I do an "update"
command for a file or a directory -- the command seems to run against the
file that is current in the editor. It is, as you point out, still an
issue. It doesn't happen every time and I have been unable to find a set of
circumstances to reproduce on demand.

It seems to happen more rarely since the builds in the 520's, but still
does.

IntelliJ: what is the status of the online bugzilla and/or feature voting
site? It'd be great to submit a bug/feature request and be able to call it
up to see the status (assigned, fixed, ignored).

Subject: [Eap-list] SourceSafe integration / file viewer bug

Hi,

I'm not sure if this bug has been posted yet, but in the production
version 2.5 of IDEA I've encountered a bug with sourcesafe and
specifically right-clicking on a file and accessing the SourceSafe menu
item. The bug I found is that if you have a few file editors open and
you have it focused on some editor, say the editor for TestClassA.java.
Then in the project view you have another file selected, say
TestClassB.java, and you right-click on it and try to select "show
differences" in the sourcesafe right-click menu. What it actually shows
you is the sourcesafe differences for TestClassA.java, the currently
focussed editor, even though you right-clicked on TestClassB.java in the
project view.

Appologies if this bug has already been posted.

Thanks,
Christian Cabanero
