It's from greek mythology Ariadna is the chick that helped Theseys get out of the labyrinth after he killed the minotaur, Theseus promised her that he would take here to Athens and mary her, but he abandoned her somewhere and found another chick (that's the way it goes :-) But then ariadna met Dionisus (the god of wine and parties) and they were happy until the end of her life :)
Pandora was the first woman in the world, wife to Epimetheus, Prometheus' simple brother. She was given a box containing all the evils (until then there were none in the world), but she was told not to open it. Out of curiosity she did it and the evils were let out. Only the Hope remained inside the box. PS: I know what's "pan", but what's "dora" ? > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On > Behalf Of Peter Mularien > Sent: Friday, January 11, 2002 2:19 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [Eap-list] Ariadna feature list > > > What does Ariadna mean (like you had a meaning for Pandora = Pan + > Dora)? > > Peter > > Eugene Belyaev wrote: > > > > The feature list for Ariadna is published at the IntelliJ > EAP site at > > http://www.intellij.com/eap. > > > > Best regards, > > > > Eugene Belyaev > > IntelliJ Software, http://www.intellij.com > > "Develop with pleasure" > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > > Eap-list mailing list > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list > > _______________________________________________ > Eap-list mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list > _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
