How 'bout auto update on your javadoc?! For example, if the parameter name is changed from "name" to "firstName", the javadoc should automatically reflect that. If the parameter type is changed, or new parameter (or exception) is added, the javadoc should automatically reflect that too!
I am not sure, but I think WebGain provides a feature similar to what's described above.
