Have a look under Tools/IDE Options/General and set
"Synchronize on frame activation" off...

I think there should be an option to turn off automatical
synchronization of files. Only synchronize files if the button is
pressed on the toolbar. This would be a much better solution. I mean
you are working on the files you should know if they change?
