You should avoid defining inner classes from within a JSP. I don't believe
any spec disallows it, but it can be a problem when you modify the JSP and
your servlet engine attempts to reload the JSP but can't because an instance
of your inner class is hanging out somewhere --which might refer back to the
old JSP if your inner class is non-static as is the one in your example.
