The main performance problem I've had is that re-synchronizing files takes maybe 20 seconds when the entire program is locked. I've always had IDEA set to re-synchronize on frame activation but I had to turn it off in Ariadna. (When it started re-synchronizing files I naturally automatically switched to another window to check my mail, read a web page or something until it was done... Not a good idea, since it causes IDEA to re-synchronize everything again when I go back to the page, so that my fingers automatically switch to another window... I managed to break the cycle after a couple of iterations, though :-)) Win2k, Pentium 4, 1.8 GHz, 1 GB of memory. The files are on a mapped network drive which is mounted from a samba server. Around 540 source files (5.3 MB). By the way, what files do IDEA synchronize? Only source files, or does it check the entire project path, or what? _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
