Hello all,

This question is about the best methodology and tools to do portlet
development in IntelliJ.

I've been working with IntelliJ the last 3 months writing a desktop
application and liked it a lot. My impression so far is lots of
functionality for a fair price.

Now I need to develop some portlets for IBM's Web Portal Server. For those
into this, how are you setting up or augmenting your environment to be most
productive? Has anyone used Apache's Jetspeed installed on their development
machine? So far the cycle to package up classes, etc., install it in IBM's
server on another machine and try to debug it is agonizingly slow.

Any help or discussion in being most productive doing portal development or
servlet development would be welcome.

thank you,
