I liked JBuilders close-file icon and - a 3/4 year ago - I tried to click a similar toolbar button in that area in IDEA. Suggestion: Add a close-file button at the most-right corner in toolbar (the stretching free space should be between the existing toolbar buttons and the new one), because MDI users expect this button there.
