I am using 6.0.4 ..
If you open the File|Open File dialog ..
If there are NO files in the currently displayed directory .. if, for
example, you enter \temp .. it opens the \temp folder ..
However if ther ARE files in the currently displayed directory .. if you
enter \temp .. if opens the "Register New Extension" dialog ..
