Title: Synchronizing files takes to long time (build 606 and before)

Hi,

I have a rather big project which is build by a big Ant build file, that does a lot of code generation to several different directories (not just the compiler output directory). Each time I build, IDEA takes a long time to synchronize the files. I presume it is due to the local VCS feature (it does not happen when I disable local VCS), that seems to synchronize all files in a project. Since I update a lot of file on each build it takes a long time to synchronize.

So I would like to be able to specify a set of directories that should be excluded from the local VCS control. Preferably by just right clicking on the folder in the project view and select some option.

Without this feature the Local VCS (which I think is a brilliant feature) is useless to me.
