new bug in #606: CVS only shows roots if I have "Show project roots"
checked. I have 2 projects root. and if I remove one of the root paths
("spr" becomes unchecked) both roots disappear from CVS pane and it becomes
unusable. Also "CVS View" option disappears from Alt-F1 pop-up.
old bug: compiled classes are removed on make (as reported by others),
unchecking "synchronize output dir" seems to fix the problem. What is exact
meaning of that option?

I do hate sums. There is no greater mistake than to call arithmetic an
exact science. There are permutations and aberrations discernible to
minds entirely noble like mine; subtle variations which ordinary
accountants fail to discover; hidden laws of number which it requires a
