I seem to remember that the new "Make Project" would compile all files
that depended on a changed file?
I changed the return type of a method from SuperClass to DerivedClass
(by hand, no refactoring:).
I did a compile selected file (as at the time I had another file that
wouldn't compile).
Now I do a "Make Project" and Idea says all files are up-to-date -
wrong: there are several files that call the changed method and now are
giving runtime errors.
