I'd say no to primitive completion too. Typing lon<control><space> is slower
than typing long, not just one character slower too, since you have to hold
down keys, wait for IDEA to figure out this 'interesting' completion, etc
etc. I'm for it if it literally has 0 impact on performance, anything else
and it just seems obsessive autocompletion. The 4 char rule is actually a
good one, so you won't get completion with int, long, and byte, but will
with boolean and short. If anyone is in the habit of trying to autocomplete
if's, then you need to reprogram yourself to code more efficiently! Clever
algorithms should be used as needed, not in every possible situation whether
it's useful or not!
