I sometimes forget adding a semicolon, or a parenthesis, or something similar at the end of a line. Before this was highlighted as an error I would not notice it until I compiled the file. I really like the fact that I see the error immediately in recent builds. Have you tried increasing the time IDEA waits until it does syntax highlighting? (IDE Options / Editor / Error Highlighting / Autoreparse Delay)? Maybe that would give you enough time to write an entire line without getting the underscore all the time. Or maybe there's some compromise that would work for all of us... Such as highlighting most errors quickly but waiting longer before highlighting an error that (1) is on the same line as the cursor and (2) could be fixed simply by going on typing. This would include missing parentheses, missing semicolons, and some similar things. _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
