1) The EJB properties tab gets "dirty" simply by moving the mouse over the
Enable EJB Integration checkbox

2) even when the above checkbox is NOT checked, the table has a white
background (indicating it is "enabled") and the add/edit/remove buttons
still work

3) contrary to #2 above, the "Web" properties page shows a gray background
for the table and the add/edit/remove buttons are disabled if the
appropriate checkbox is NOT checked.  The table is still gray even if the
checkbox is checked, however.

4) the new UI Options --> "Cyclic scrolling in lists" checkbox does NOT set
the dirty bit when toggled
