At startup, between the time IntelliJ first displays the main window and the time it quiesces and is ready for use, IntelliJ repaints the screen once or twice and may even shift the boundaries between views (e.g., the Structure view and the Editor view).
I suggest that IntelliJ delay displaying the main window until it's made all these adjustments. The visual changes look unprofessional. #609 /Jim P.S.
