Yes, that may be right, but usage of html tags in javadoc is common to me and 
everyone I know writing javadoc.

This subordinate clause intentionally should mean (placed somewhere else in 
the mail, I actually can't figure out where) that I tested the javadoc-link 
without adding <p></p>, too. The NPE was thrown anyway, every time I entered the @ !
