I have the same Problem. A compilation with 'Make Project' does a full recompile (and I have to do that really often). In additional please bring back a simple Compile Modified. It does work fine every time and I can't work whitout this ;-) !!

I havent been able to get dependency-based compilation to work (not in 2.5.1, nor in builds #607-609). What steps can I take to troubleshoot my setup?

 

The basic symptom is that if I do a Make Project in succession, IDEA does a full recompile.
