Hi, if I do a cvs unedit on a changed file (from within IDEA), the file in the editor becomes blank, and in the project pane it shows up with a J icon (presumably java file?), rather than a C icon (class). References to the class in other files also show up in red, with a "Cannot resolve symbol" error. Closing the file in the editor and re-opening it does not change the situation, nor does doing a synchronise. I have to close idea and re-start it to get it to read the file. The file does exist on disk. Problem does not occur for an unchanged file. This has been happening for a while (at least since 604). I am currently using 611 (nt4 sp5, JDK1.3.1).
