I used idea 2.0 with CVS via ssh. It all worked perfectly when I set the correct environment variables, for instance in the idea.bat file.
Certainly I set $CVS_RSH and possibly I had ssh in my path. Perhaps I also had to set other env vars - see the cvs user manual.
