Pressing the '+' numpad key has to copy the current line to the clipboard without having to select the whole line first when no selection has been made, instead if some selection has been made this selection will be put in the clipboard! (This and a lot of other goodies makes this keymap so cool and perfect for doing code programming.) I think that the current "Copy" binding copies only selected text to the clipboard.
some very special keystrokes are: '+' numpad key '-' numpad key INSERT key HOME key END key some special functions (which you should generaly consider to have ;-): Bookmarks Column Editing (that means column selection and editing (indenting, deleting etc. )) It would be nice if this could be implemented in ariadne (I would help in doing testing with eap). ----- Original Message ----- From: Valentin Kipiatkov To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 12, 2002 4:18 PM Subject: Re: [Eap-list] Brief Keymap As I undestand you may just bind "Copy" to numpad + and "Paste" to Insert. Doesn't it work for you? Column selection is not supported by IDEA. When do you need it? Are you sure that it's is plainly creatable by me without some special programming effort? Brief has some very special key combinations. For example the use od the '+' num pad key is very special in the way that it does copy the current source line in the clipboard and pressing the 'Insert' key the content of the clipboard is pasted. Also ALT+C is a very special one (Mark a column) I don't see how I could do that...but maybe I'm missing something.... so in this case I think the best and efficient would be if you could do it... The only thing I'm really missing is the Brief Keymap. Could you please support it like emacs and visual studio? This keymap is very good and widely used (borland, visual studio and a lot of good editors). Here is a link to a description of it: http://www.borland.com/techpubs/jbuilder/jbuilder5/qs/key_brief.html Please write directly to me (I'm not subscribed to the list...) when answering. Thanks and compliment for this product! Cheers -Pavel _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
