this is not instantly obvious - but smart indeed ;-)
(sorry for not having read the info about this)

I think it is possible that you could earn some money
by offering training courses for IDEA - 
this is not meant to be an offense, it is part of the fun
of using IDEA early access versions to discover these new
features, but I can see it here with my collegues that some
of them only use 10% of the features... ;-)

Please note 2) in the changes in build #611:

Editor. "Smart braces" feature:
1. When '(' or '[' is typed, the corresponding ')' or ']' is inserted
automatically 
2. When ')' or ']' is typed and the required brace is already in place,
the caret is moved one character to the right instead of insertion of
the brace

You can _always_ type closing brace if you want. IDEA shouldn�t disturb
you in this case.
