I'm now getting messages with a delay of about 45 minutes to one hour. For example, I just received a message from Maxim Shapirov dated 12:08 (Swedish time), and it's now just before 13:00. Like before, the messages seem to be delayed at s3.servlets.net.
I don't want to complain too much since I really like these mailing lists and the incredible support you are providing through the lists, but the delays make it a bit difficult to carry on a discussion about features or whatever, since the round trip time from a message to a reply will be 1.5 to 2 hours... I'd really like to see if there's some way to solve these problems. Is s3.servlets.net running sendmail? We had problems with sendmail in another mailing list. It turned out that when sendmail couldn't contact a user (a mail server was down) it waited for about 13 minutes before continuing with the next user. Depending on your position in the mailing list and depending on which servers were down, you would get the messages almost immediately or after 13, 26, 39, 52, ... minutes (for a mailing list with around 25 people distributed by an almost idle computer). We've now switched to another MTA and everything works much better. _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
