Perhaps I'm guilty of using the Eclipse/VAJ term. This debugging feature allows one to re-start from a lower stack frame. For instance: you set a breakpoint at the beginning of method x(). You then step into method y(). "Drop to selected Frame" in VAJ allowed you to pop y() off the call stack and re-start from the beginning of x().
