Using Windows 2000, JRE 1.3.1, and multiple monitors, IDEA often refreshes all of its windows repeatedly during scrolling.

For example: if you have separated the project window out into a separate window and placed it on the other monitor, and then you scroll the source window, IDEA will often clear both windows to white, then, after about a second, it will redraw both windows. This may repeat up to 10 times before scrolling is allowed to resume.

The refresh may also be accompanied by a sizable increase in memory usage.
