It would also be helpful when writing html,xml and jsp's. Don't be so close minded Hani. Just because you would not use the feature does not mean it is not a valid one. I do not want it to be on all of the time like in word. I think it could be part of the code analysis functions.
from mike: Programming, in the strictest sense, may not be word processing, but writing comments and JavaDoc certainly qualifies. If IDEA can help me write code that I would not be embarassed of, why not help me do the same with comments? -Mike I have used other products that allow you to spell check comments and quoted strings.
