Indeed. An IDE should help you write code, not text.

spell checker to write comments you should probably go back to high

For what language the spell checking should be? I would prefer German,
but
other guys would prefer English, US-English, Spanish, French, Russian or

what ever. Do you think, that IntelliJ should support them all? To not
offend some users, they shouldn't waste time with ANY spell checker.

If one can't write comments without a spell checker, I believe, (s)he
should not write them at all. Or ()he should begin to reread her/his
comments before committing the files.
