We use CVS with all
files in read-only mode except those being edited. In previous builds, IntelliJ
would prompt you to CVS "edit" the file when attempting to edit a read-only file
that was under version control. This behaviour is gone now. I guess this is
a bug since I can't believe that such a handy feature would be
removed.
Another point about
the way it used to work - it seemed that sometimes when you approved the change
of writeable status you would be prompted again when you tried to start typing
in the editor. The second time always worked, though.
