Please don't show these nasty "This page has been modified. Save changes in this page?"-dialogs. I always have to press "Yes". If I would regret one setting, I would press "Cancel" in the settings dialog.
BTW: Using Swing's message dialogs has the odd side-effect on non-english OS, that the buttons are shown localized. That looks a little bit unprofessional (often seen in Windows applications): english message, german buttons.
