Hi what happens is pretty ugly

If I choose something like Alexandria, I lose the whole IDE page, all
the fonts are gone, blank nothing comes back, the tabs lose their names,
the only thing that remains is the icons and the menu items.

Changing back to Arial gets me the code back, but still no tab text

Changing to Arial bold does nothing whatsoever.

Remember this works fine on windows, I am on Linux RedHat 7.2 with
Ximian Gnome desktop, using JDK 1.3.1_03, using XFree86 4.0.1 with the
standard fonts.

The other problem with the fonts is that when you're in the code page,
the | never points to the right spot in the text it's 1 character off
which is really annoying when selecting text because I keep missing
characters and have to figure out that it's one space behind of where it
should be.

Does anyone there use Linux for development?
