I believe that around 614 the project file format changed and it was
announced in the read me and the list that project files would have to be
created from scracth.

Even for beta builds, if this was intentional and not a bug, I'd at
least expect to see a readme that says it's going to mess up the project
file the first time I run it.

I asked about this (will there be an automatic upgrade mechanism?)
about 2-3 weeks ago, but I never saw a response.  Maybe I missed
it.  I would hope that there would be an automatic upgrade of the
project files for the non-EAP users.  I think it's safe to assume
that the users _will_ expect this.  I know I do.
