Windows XP Pro JDK 1.3.1_02 My IDEA just froze for no reason. It wasn't totally frozen but everything took 30 secs+, so it was totally unusable. GC didn't help either as it wasn't even out of memory yet.
I killed the process and restarted IDEA. Now all my settings appear to have gone. I got the daily tip thing on start-up and there are lots of red lines in the editor. I will have to add the JDKs again etc. My JDK is marked "invalid" in the project properties. No stack trace appeared in the window obviously. Regards, Patrick M.
