I'm on a Win2k machine (for the time being) and my projects are placed such that they have a path like so: C:/Documents and Settings/USERNAME/My Documents/Projects/PROJECTNAME When IDEA loads a project, it displays a dialog that displays something or another... but I don't know what exactly since the path to whatever it is loading is wider than the dialog's width, and it doesn't wrap. I think IDEA should wrap the path in that dialog. There are also many locations where paths are displayed with very minimal width to do so... such that displaying what little prefix of the path is available isn't useful at all. Given any path, I'm 90% of the time interested with the leaf end, not the root. If IDEA ever doesn't have enough room to display the path, I propose it right-justify the text into whatever minimal width it has available to draw. This is mostly annoying for me in the Project tab.
The existing behavior of displaying a full path in a tab if I hover the mouse over it is nice, but I think that without hovering my mouse over the path IDEA should display the piece that the user is most interested in --the leaf. ~ David Smiley _______________________________________________ Eap-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-list
