Ditto. I reported it with 1.3.1_02, but when I tried it at work on 1.3.1_03 it was fine.

I noticed the same problem at some point with #618 (using jdk 1.3.1_01 on Win2K), but after upgrading to jdk 1.3.1_03 the issue disappeared.
