Actually, Cedric was already doing that by providing (yet another!) patch file for building Cufflinks; just to be clear, the difficulty is arising from complications in relation to Boost, not Cufflinks itself. Cedric et al, I have been able to get a working "clunky" .eb & module just this morning, by using another a clunky approach, which is not less clunky than Boost build process itself. Yes, Boost _is_ clunky. We will try to clean that up now recollecting all the feedback you have supplied, and hopefully soon supply it back upstream. thanks all, Fotis
