Hello EasyBuilders,
In the wake of the imminent release of v1.2.0, I've created new v1.2.x branches in the various EasyBuild repositories which will be used for further bug fixing development on v1.2.0 and follow-up versions. Any pull requests for new features should be made to the 'develop' branches (for v1.3) as usual, any pull requests for bug fixes in v1.2.0(rc1) should go to the v1.2.x branches. The v1.1.x branches have been removed, since there will be no further updates in the v1.1.x line of versions. EasyBuild v1.2.0 should be fully backwards compatible. regards, Kenneth On 26 Feb 2013, at 17:50, Kenneth Hoste wrote: > Hello EasyBuilders, > > The first release candidate for EasyBuild v1.2.0 is available on GitHub > [1][2][3] and PyPi [4]! > > Please test this release ASAP, and let us know if you run into any problems > by opening an issue in one of the EasyBuild repositories (pick the most > appropriate one). > > EasyBuild v1.2.0 uses a new command line option parser backend > (generaloption), so try and pay attention to the functionality of the 'eb' > command and the options it provides during your testing. > > The final release of EasyBuild v1.2.0 is planned for this Thursday, Feb. 28th > 2013, which gives you about 48h to test this release candidate. > > > regards, > > Kenneth > EasyBuild release manager > > [1] https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-framework > [2] https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-easyblocks > [3] https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-easyconfigs > [4] https://pypi.python.org/pypi/easybuild
