+1 for wonderful world
Being an early adopter, I have to say I haven't been as enthusiastic
in the software world since I met Linux & Python (but I am a biased fellow,
because I have the habit of far too often building and breaking stuff ;-)
What I appreciate even more is, the small community of alike-minded people
around it that we try to bring sense and structure, atop software build chaos...
Most HPC sites try to handle this with a small army of engineers firefighting,
I think this approach is quite better, and you will eventually see the why!
