Hello EasyBuilders, The feature freeze for EasyBuild v1.10.0 has been in effect since last Wednesday Dec 11th 2013, and the release is planned for tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 18th 2013. However, I'm forced to push back the release to a later date though, due to time pressure (mostly due to more urgent 'real' work tasks).
The exact date isn't fixed yet, but I intend to switch to regression testing mode soon, and would definitely like to push the release out by the end of the week. Currently, I'm working on getting the eligible framework and easyblocks pull requests merged into the develop branches, and then I still need to dive into the easyconfigs pull requests that were opened the last couple of weeks. I want to avoid letting tons of PRs to rot in the coming weeks, so I'm trying to get stuff that's ready merged in ASAP, before I close things down for regression testing. I'm going to focus on trying to get all framework and easyblocks PRs merged in, and will then only look at selected easyconfigs PRs. Considering all opened PRs is going to push back the release too much, so if you would really like to see particular PRs included in EasyBuild v1.10, please push them forward in this thread ASAP. I hope I can get to handling the other PRs quickly after the release, and we will look into automating the testing process further to lower the overhead of incoming PRs. regards, Kenneth
