Hello, Bonjour, Goeiedag to all.
I am definitely not understanding something in Easybuild.
I am trying to compile OpenMPI using the Intel compilers.
I have installed the Intel compiler into /opt/intel (actually somewhere
slightly different, but let's go with the standard place).
I see lots of Easyblock files which define many Intel compiler versions, and it
looks like they expect to find the Intel tar file
and unpack it/install it.
How do I set up an Easybuild file which just says 'use the existing Intel
compiler on the system' ?
I have got a Modules file for the Intel compilers - do I need a separate one
for ifort and icc?
Apologies if there is a glaring answer to this in the documentation.
I thought that all you would need to do is use:
toolchain = {'name':'my-intel-compiler-modulefile'}
