So basically you would like a way to generate a toolchain with the gcc, icc, ifort, imkl, impi, ... of your choice? We could write a script for that. It's not hard to make a custom toolchain, just tedious. The problem is of course the infinite number of possible combinations. --try-toolchain will get you far but merging these easyconfigs back to the main tree will be trouble. Ward
