Based on Jack Perdue's suggesting (which I hadn't noticed until pointed out to me), I have also booked at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin Northwest/Arboretum for November 10-14th.
I don't know if we will have as many as 10 hotel rooms booked, but if you book now with free cancellation, we may be able to negotiate a slightly better group rate (or at least maybe get a quiet place where we can hang out in the hotel to drink beer). In my research to find a relatively near hotel that was cheap, this hotel came up, so it is probably a good general option for those with restricted budgets too.
