There are some issues with vsc-base 2.4.14 that was pushed to PyPI
earlier. We've removed that release, can you try again?

I tried it on 2 different machine, where I was previously able to
install EB without problems (up to v 2.2)
Does anyone hit the same error?
Something appear to be broken with vsc-base, in particular logdaemon.py
Checking in the repository there are commits about it dated 5 days ago.
