Hello everybody,

when I install EasyBuild 2.4.0 and the Python library `setuptools` is not
installed locally as a prerequisite, I get a different directory structure of
EasyBuild 2.4.0 (not of 2.5.0!). I opened a ticket for that, for details:

    https://github.com/hpcugent/easybuild-framework/issues/1542

When I install `setuptools`, I get the correct structure, but when I try to
install Cython with EasyBuild, it fails (it worked with the "wrong" directory
structure). I assume it is because `setuptools` is installed.

I really wonder how to get around this. Either I can install EasyBuild 2.4.0
with different directory structure (but still working) or I can install it
correctly but then the Cython installation fails. Did anyone experience this? I
don't know if this behaviour is intentional or if I am doing a big mistake
during installation that I'm not able to see! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks and cheers,
  Oliver
